Salary: ₹200/closed ticket, 5 tickets closures/day (130 tickets closures/month, considering 26 working days a month) makes you earn ₹26000/month
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Field Service Engineer to join our support team for HP and Lenovo hardware products. The candidate will be responsible for providing onsite technical support to customers, handling warranty and non-warranty service calls, and ensuring timely and professional resolution of hardware issues.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite technical support for HP and Lenovo desktops, laptops, AIOs, printers, and accessories.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues within SLA timelines (4hr/Next-Day response).
Handle warranty, extended warranty, and OOW (out-of-warranty) service cases.
Install, replace, and return defective components following HP/Lenovo part return policies.
Maintain accurate records via CRM/mobile tools, update service call status in real-time.
Follow all compliance, grooming, documentation, and escalation protocols as outlined by TVS-E.
Ensure first-time fix rate, quality service, and positive customer feedback (SNPS).
Maintain proper handling and storage of service parts.
Return all used/spare parts as per HP/Lenovo RMA timelines and processes.
Attend mandatory trainings and certification sessions organized by TVS-E/HP/Lenovo.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, AIOs, printers.
Ability to read service manuals and follow OEM repair procedures.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with mobile CRM apps and digital documentation tools.
Must own a 2-wheeler with a valid driving license for field visits.
Must be physically fit and able to carry small tools and spares.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware support (if Degree holder).
Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware support (if Diploma holder).
MCP/CompTIA A+/Lenovo/HP certifications preferred.
Must have completed or be willing to complete HP/Lenovo certification trainings via TVS-E.
